Examination and Evaluation System Assessment Schedule

The examination and evaluation system assessment schedule in a school is an important part of the overall educational process. It helps to ensure that students are making progress and they are being prepared for success in the next grade level and beyond.In order to have a continuous evaluation for the growth and development of the child in various areas of learning set in the curriculum, we have our examination system as follows: 

PRE-PRIMARY(UPTO CLASS-II)

There will NO UNIT EXAMS for classes as tests are not accurate ways measuring students abilities.

• The syllabus has been divided on monthly basis.
• The students will have assignment worksheet of every subject regularly in class based on the syllabus covered that month.This will enable the teacher of measure the child’s progress on her observations over the whole year.
• The children will be assessed on the basis of hands an activities and discussion
• The student will be passed and promoted on the basis of their performance throughout the year.

PROCEDURE FOR INTERNAL EXAMINATION 2023-24 (CLASS III ONWARDS)

• Unit Test -1 (20 Marks) – May’23
  • Class Test – Class III (10 Marks)
  • Revision Test Class IV & V (20 Marks)
  • Unit Test – 1 Classes VI – X & XII (20 Marks)

• Unit Test 1/2 (20 Marks ) – July – August’23
  • Unit Test 1 – Class III, IV, V (20 Marks)
  • Unit Test – 2 Class VI – X & XII (20 Marks )

• Half Yearly – September’23

(CLUSTER 1)

• Classes III, IV (50 Marks)- Internal Paper
• Classes V – X (80 marks) – Cluster Paper
• Classes XI – XII (As per CBSE) – Internal Paper
• Practical Exam XI – XII (As per CBSE)

• Unit Test 2/3 (20 marks) – December’23

• Unit Test 2 – Classes III, IV ,V & XI (20 Marks)
• Unit Test 3 – Classes VI, VII, IX (20 Marks)

• Pre Board 1 – December’23

• Classes X & XII (As per CBSE)
• Pre Board Practical Class XII

• Pre Board – January’24
  • Class VIII (As per DAVCAE)
  • Class X & XII (As per CBSE)

• Final Exam – Feb – March’24
